Meet... Diane Allan
I was born in Windsor Ontario but grew up and was educated in Regina Saskatchewan. While residing in Regina, I worked for the City government and modelled professionally.
I moved to Victoria in 1973. The choice was easy as my maternal grandmother had lived here and my mother was here when she met my father. Being a frequent visitor as a youngster, I had always loved the city.
I moved to Cordova Bay in 1982 and have been there ever since. My husband and I finished raising our five children, the youngest is now 32, in the house we bought in 1983. We still live there. Our house is our home, a foundation for our family which now includes 4 grandchildren.
After 24 years service, I retired in 2004 from the Federal Government as a Team Leader in the Canada Pension Plan with the intention of pursuing my growing interest in residential real estate.
Home and family have always been important to me. I love design and decoration both interior and exterior. While I was working, I was, for a time, the floral designer for the Aerie Resort and operated my own, Earthborne Designs. I chose my new career in real estate because I get the greatest pleasure out of assisting friends with their homes.
It is my goal to find a new home for my clients, one they feel comfortable with from the outset. For those that are selling, I want to find a buyer that will care for the home you are selling and feel that it is a privilege to live there.
